Design recommendations for SSDI / SSI users

  • Use large tap targets, plain labels, and visible save confirmations for users managing fatigue, pain, vision limits, or cognitive load.
  • Default to gross earnings for SSDI warning math, then separately track expenses, miles, and impairment-related work expenses for review.
